Do you thrive in a dynamic and rewarding school environment? If so we may just have the right role for you! Working closely with our clients team, you'll play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day operation of their offices during term time. You'll be the go-to person for a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring efficiency and providing crucial support to their team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for communications, managing enquiries, and following up on actions with a clear understanding of school procedures.
  • Managing school calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and school events efficiently.
  • Preparing agendas and taking accurate minutes at meetings, tracking follow-up tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Handling telephone, email, and in-person enquiries professionally and effectively.
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support: drafting correspondence, maintaining organised filing systems (paper and electronic).
  • Supporting staff with enquiries and collaborating with administrative colleagues.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of school databases and records, ensuring accuracy.
  • Creating clear and concise communications for staff and parents.
  • Collaborating on the planning and execution of school events.
  • Providing administrative support for admissions and recruitment processes.

Our client is looking for someone who has:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a school or educational environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills with proven experience in accurate minute-taking.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management abilities.
  • The capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy school setting.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all stakeholders.
  • Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
