Experienced Family Support Worker Required
In Rural Calne / Chippenham Area
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced support worker / nanny to join an existing team to work approximately 9 hours a week term time and 26 hours in school holidays, plus additional hours where needed to support the family and cover leave for other members of the team.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, dynamic and dedicated support worker to work with our amazing 7-year-old daughter who has cerebral palsy and complex needs. These include peg feeding and using a PODD-based communication system.
Our daughter has an effervescent and sociable personality, and enjoys play and therapy activities. She loves days out and the use of water-based and music therapies.
She is very willing to learn and engage and needs a support worker who will help support her education and developmental needs, while fitting seamlessly into our family setting.
You will be joining a team of support workers who assist our daughter with her personal care, nutritional, medical and leisure needs.
You will be supported and trained by an excellent therapy team, dedicated to providing the optimum care for our daughter and maximising her long-term potential.
