Financial Reporting Specialist   – About the role

You will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Maintain and strengthen internal control measures to support robust financial governance
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and deliver insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy
  • Develop, implement, and continuously assess internal controls and financial procedures to identify areas for improvement
  • Support month-end close by taking ownership of transactional activities for specific entities within the group as needed

Financial Reporting Specialist  – Skills and experience

  • Experience in financial reporting and control within a professional accounting environment
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant financial reporting standards
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proficient in accounting systems and financial modelling tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced Excel skills, for data analysis and reporting
  • A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, a STEM subject, or an equivalent qualification
