Our client is currently looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join their precision engineering team in Truro. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong CNC background to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Summary

As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a range of CNC machines (preferably Mazak) to produce high-quality, precision-engineered components. You’ll ensure all parts meet required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Programme, set, and operate CNC machinery efficiently and accurately.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to produce and inspect finished components.
• Modify CNC programmes where necessary to maintain high-quality output.
• Perform in-process quality checks to identify and rectify defects.

Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with CNC machines (experience with Mazak is a strong advantage).
• Proficiency in reading and editing CNC programmes.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
