Multi Skilled Electrician - NHS

Venn Group have partnered with a large Surrey based NHS Trust to recruit a Multi-Skilled Electrical Technician on a 12 month contract.You would be responsible for the service, testing and repairs needed to the equipment and plant for a large NHS Hospital, including ordering of parts, fitment, calibration and electrical installations across the site. You would assist the Estates Supervisor with all aspects to PPM and SPM to provide a safe compliant environment for staff and patients.

Key Duties:

• Carry out maintenance and minor works on engineering plant, equipment and services.• To assist in relation to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM, SPM) issues.• To advise other department managers with regard to small electrical/ mechanical improvement/ project works and assist with budget costs.• Carry out condition reports and report back with written report on plant and equipment to enable management forecast back log spend.• Liaise with approved contractors for urgent maintenance issues and breakdowns when necessary.

The successful candidate must have:

• 18th Edition City & Guilds or NVQ level 3• A proven ability to plan and prioritise work, under pressure and respond to deadlines in line with SLAs & KPIs• Post qualification experience as an Electrician or within an electrical maintenance environment providing an engineering service• Good communication, organisation and maintenance skillsVenn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
