Sonic Summary

BAE Systems is seeking an ADA Software Engineer for a 12-month contract position based in Frimley/Portsmouth, with an hourly rate of £50.00 PAYE or £67.47 Umbrella.
The role requires commercial experience in ADA programming, along with skills in configuration management and software integration and testing.
Candidates should have experience operating in a multi-project environment and familiarity with testing techniques in a complex, real-time software setting.
C++ or C# experience is desirable, and a background in defense is also preferred but not mandatory.
This position offers the potential for hybrid working after an initial onsite period and requires relevant experience to be considered.

Programming: ADA, (AdaCore GPS)
Configuration Management
Coding standards
Software Integration & testing
Ability to operate in a multi-project environment
Knowledge and experience of testing techniques (unit test, component test, automated test etc.)
Knowledge and experience of systems and software development in a complex, real-time software environment

Skills & Qualifications:

Commercial ADA experience - mandatory
Configuration management control experience
C++ or C# experience desirable
Defence background desirable
