Polytec are looking for an Experienced Assembly Technician for our client based just west of Cambridge. You will have good hands-on experience of high precision mechanical assembly and testing skills.

Responsibilities:
* Assembly and sub-assembly of small mechanical/electrical sub modules and functional test stages within the flow line
* Trouble-shoot malfunctions, carry out modifications and build prototypes as required
* Undertake testing to the vacuum specification
* Responsible for the maintenance of test equipment

Requirements:
* Good hands-on experience of high precision mechanical assembly and testing
* Ability to follow established procedures to ensure that agreed deadlines and manufacturing targets are met
