Group Financial AccountantCambridge (hybrid)Salary £50,000 - £55,000

We are seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join a fast growing, and fast-paced company in Cambridge. This role could be ideal for someone who is newly qualified and eager to learn, or for an experienced accountant keen to thrive in a modern and fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Month-end and year-end postings including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets across international entities.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Group statutory accounts preparation.
  • External audit, providing information and responding to auditor queries.
  • Support tax reporting responsibilities such as VAT, US sales tax, and corporate tax as required.
  • Utilise reporting tools to provide business insights.
  • Budgets and reforecasts.
  • Handle forecast queries within the business.
  • Support current finance projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on accounting applications.
  • Highly numerate.
  • A qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Highly motivated to learn and seeking new challenges and learning opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of UK and/or international accounting standards.
  • Strong systems and Excel skills.
