Pure are supporting on the recruitment of a Management Accountant on behalf of an established business on the outskirts of Cambridge, this is a 6 month fixed term contract with the potential to extend.

This role will report into the Financial Controller and will take responsibility for the monthly reporting, forecasting and business planning. The main responsibilities are as follows -

- Finalise monthly management accounts and submit to the group within the set deadline
- Prepare the monthly P&L narrative covering cash movement, variances and working capital changes.
- Conduct variance analysis to investigate deviations from budget or forecast
- Coordinate and report weekly cash flows
- Assist in business planning, forecasting and budgeting
- Complete monthly VAT returns
- Liaise with internal and external auditors during the audit process

You will ideally be qualified CIMA or ACCA however qualified by experience will also be considered, you must have demonstrable experience in the above mentioned duties and be skilled in data analysis. This role could be full time or 4 days a week and will be worked on a hybrid basis.
