A rare opportunity for a Part-time Finance Assistant has come up in Cambridge, working for a fantastic business based near Cambridge North.
This is a busy and varied role, focused around accounts payable and receivable, along with supporting with the smooth running of the finance department.
Duties will include:
- Manage financial transactions and queries
- Day to day recording and reporting of income including invoicing
- Manage the purchase ledger from purchase orders through to payment of suppliers
- Input banking transactions and reconcile
- Prepare year end files for auditors
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Credit control
- Data input and project work when required
- Continuous improvement around processes
We're looking for someone who is proactive, a good organiser, has high attention to detail and is a team player.
- Experience of working in a finance function ideally
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of using Xero would be an advantage
