What You'll Be Doing:

Join our Older Adults Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) as a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults experiencing mental health challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:

? Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing personalised care plans.? Providing specialist interventions for older adults with conditions such as dementia, depression, and anxiety.? Working closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.? Administering depot injections, overseeing medication management, and supporting physical health monitoring.? Delivering crisis intervention, relapse prevention, and recovery-focused care.? Conducting risk assessments and safeguarding for vulnerable adults.? Signposting and referring individuals to appropriate community services and inpatient care when required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

? A current and valid NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN).? Proven experience working with older adults in a community mental health setting.? Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and risk management skills.? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.? The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.? A valid full UK driver's license (preferred but not essential).

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a Monday to Friday role from 9 AM - 5 PM, offering flexibility and a healthy work-life balance. The contract is for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
