Astute's EPC Contract Power team is partnering with a leading End Client / Operator within the UK Power Industry to recruit a Civils Supervisor to oversee the full Civils scope of works for their new build Waste to Energy facility based in Cambridgeshire.
The Civils Supervisor comes with a day rate from 400.00 to 500.00 outside of IR35.
Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:
- Act as the client's on-site representative, overseeing the EPC contractor's civil works delivery
- Monitor contractor performance against programme, scope, and contractual requirements
- Chair and attend regular site meetings with EPC construction management and discipline leads
- Review and challenge method statements, risk assessments, and temporary works proposals
- Ensure all civil works comply with approved designs, specifications, and statutory regulations
- Monitor HSE performance, escalating non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
- Track progress, identify risks or delays, and provide clear reporting to the client project team
- Witness inspections, testing, and handover of civil works, ensuring quality standards are met
- Provide key stakeholders and the project delivery team progress updates on the civils scope of works.

- Cambridgeshire
- 400.00 to 500.00 per day (Outside IR35)
- Start date - January 2026
- 12 months contract
