£38,000 plus shares and overtime
My client is looking for a Field Engineer to join their Operations team, supporting the design, installation, and maintenance of permanent and temporary highways technology projects.
This role involves working on customer sites across the UK, including occasional overnight stays and unsociable hours. You’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining equipment, completing site surveys, resolving faults within SLAs, and ensuring accurate system and asset reporting.
Key requirements:
- Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent customer communication and service focus
- Experience working in highways environments and applying health & safety standards
- Strong documentation and Microsoft Office skills
- Understanding of quality management systems (ISO9001)
- Willingness to obtain security clearance (mandatory)
Technical experience with networking, camera-based systems, or enforcement technologies is desirable but not essential. Ideally you'll come from a highways, cctv or signals based background.
If you enjoy hands-on technical work, customer interaction, and varied site-based projects, we’d love to hear from you.
