Field Service Engineer – FMCG & Manufacturing Focus
Location: Across the UK -Mainly East Midlands based
Salary: £49,000 + Company vehicle,overtime and travel cost
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
Who You Are:
You’re a hands-on engineer with experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments, passionate about keeping production lines, machinery, and facilities running smoothly. You thrive on problem-solving, enjoy variety in your day, and take pride in seeing results fast. This is a field service role, meaning you’ll be traveling between client sites rather than being based at a single location.
The Role:
- Maintain, repair, and optimise mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across multiple production and manufacturing sites.
- Respond quickly to service calls – be the go-to technical hero.
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and safety checks.
- Keep accurate service records and report progress.
- Support efficiency and sustainability initiatives on site.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified in electrical, mechanical, or building services engineering.
- Proven field experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
