A well-established and highly regarded architectural practice, recognised for its considered and sustainable design ethos, is seeking an experienced Architect to join its friendly and collaborative Cambridge studio. The practice works across a diverse range of sectors including education, healthcare, cultural, and residential projects, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, well-resolved design that balances creativity with technical rigour.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the production of high-quality design and technical drawings
- Coordinate design and technical information with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Support project delivery across RIBA Stages 3 to 6
- Ensure compliance with current UK building regulations and technical standards
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary design team
- Assist with design development and technical coordination during construction and on-site phases
Skills and Experience
- ARB-registered Architect
- Experience working within a UK architectural practice
- Strong technical knowledge with proven construction detailing skills
- Good understanding of UK building regulations and construction methodologies
- Proficiency in Revit with a solid understanding of BIM processes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and collaborative approach
