This Senior Electrical Design Manager role is hybrid working 2 - 3 days in the office and the rest from home.
Key Responsibilities for this Electrical Design Project Manager role:
- Leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary design projects from inception through to delivery
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, developing strong and lasting relationships
- Coordinating teams and consultants to deliver projects that meet technical, commercial, and sustainability targets
- Supporting and mentoring engineers within the local team to ensure high performance and professional growth
- Managing resources effectively to maintain profitability and quality across multiple schemes
- Playing an active role in proposals, bids and business development
What They’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in electrical engineering for the built environment
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
- Demonstrated experience in a team leadership role—able to manage, motivate, and delegate confidently
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems with a broad understanding of other building services disciplines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness with experience delivering high-value projects on time and on budget
- Competence in relevant software and industry tools
