Senior Architect

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £40-50,000

A leading design practice is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join its growing team in Cambridge. This full-time, on-site role offers the chance to lead and deliver ambitious projects across a variety of sectors, with a focus on high-quality design and technical excellence. The Senior Architect will play a central role in design development, project coordination and client engagement. They will bring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance creativity with technical delivery. Collaboration is key, and the successful candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment while also taking responsibility for guiding projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and coordination of projects across multiple sectors

  • Manage client relationships and represent the practice in meetings and presentations

  • Oversee project teams to ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and timely delivery

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members

  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals

Qualifications & Skills

  • ARB registered
