A renowned architectural studio in the heart of Cambridge is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join its award-winning, RIBA-chartered team. Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate comprehensive technical drawings and specifications, particularly across RIBA Stages 4-6
- Collaborate with architects and project leads to ensure seamless delivery of design intent
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and ensure quality outcomes
- Support team coordination and mentor junior technicians as required
- Maintain compliance with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is highly desirable
Required Experience & Skills:
- HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology
- Extensive UK-based experience in a technical role within an architectural practice
- Strong technical detailing and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering complex projects
- Sector experience across residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes
- Excellent communication and team coordination abilities
- CIAT membership or working towards accreditation is advantageous
