Senior Architectural Technologist

Location: Cambridge

Salary:40-47,000

A respected and long-established architectural practice known for its thoughtful, sustainable approach is looking to appoint an experienced Architectural Technician to join its friendly and collaborative Cambridge studio. Working across education, healthcare, cultural and residential sectors, the team delivers high-quality projects with a strong emphasis on design integrity and technical excellence.

In this role, you will play a key part in the technical delivery of varied and engaging schemes, collaborating closely with architects, consultants and external teams to ensure smooth progression from early design through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare high-quality technical drawings and comprehensive construction packages
* Coordinate design information with consultants, contractors and project teams
* Support project delivery across RIBA Stages 3-6
* Ensure compliance with current UK building regulations and relevant technical standards
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary design environment
* Assist with the effective technical delivery of projects during site stages

Skills & Experience:
* Degree or HND in Architectural Technology
* Experience within a UK architectural practice
* Strong technical detailing skills and sound construction knowledge
* Solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
* Proficiency in Revit with an awareness of BIM processes
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
