We are currently offering the opportunity for a technician to join an innovative biotechnology company based in Cambridge. Our client is seeking a new hard-working individual their team focused on developing and optimising new products within the company,
This is the perfect opportunity for an individual with a few months of lab experience who is seeking to develop their career in an entry-level role within R&D.

The Role
As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Performing DNA extractions and QC checks on DNA samples (e.g. via Nanodrop, Qubit, gel electrophoresis),
- Housekeeping tasks including media preparation & glassware washing,
- Accurate recording of experimental methods and results.
Current / Recent Experience Required:
- At least 6 months of hands-on experience working within a laboratory environment (essential).
- An awareness of common microbiology / molecular biology techniques (essential).
- A willingness to perform routine and repetitive lab work (essential).
Profile Required:
- Existing UK work eligibility (essential).
- Happy to commute / relocate to Cambridge (essential).
