This Cambridge based organisation is looking for a Caretaker / Maintenance Operative / Handyperson to join the team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.

You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team with a role that offers variety every day. If you're someone who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly and enjoys solving practical problems, this could be a great fit.

What you'll be doing:

  • General maintenance across the site - from plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating, to grounds and pathway upkeep
  • Supporting office moves, furniture assembly and small installation jobs
  • Escorting and working alongside contractors
  • Ensuring fixtures, fittings and equipment are safe and in good working order
  • Seasonal upkeep of the building and grounds

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in building or facilities maintenance
  • A recognised qualification within the construction industry would be a real advantage
  • A flexible approach - priorities can change quickly, so adaptability is key
  • Someone happy working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team
  • Good communication skills - you'll be interacting with a wide range of people on site
