A highly regarded architectural practice known for its thoughtful and sustainable designs is looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to join its vibrant team in Cambridge. The practice specialises in delivering exceptional projects across various sectors, including education, cultural, healthcare and residential.

The successful Architectural Technician will play a pivotal role in developing detailed technical solutions for a range of projects. You will work closely with architects and consultants to support the efficient delivery of projects from early design stages through to construction.

Experience, Responsibilities and Skills for the Architectural Technician role:

  • Relevant degree or HND in Architectural Technology
  • Proven industry experience in a UK-based practice
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical drawings and detailed construction packages
  • Coordinate information effectively with consultants and contractors
  • Support project delivery across RIBA Stages 3-6
  • Ensure compliance with current UK building regulations and technical standards
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and familiarity with BIM workflows is advantageous
  • Excellent technical knowledge with strong attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
