We are currently working with a college based in Cambridge who are searching for a Facilities Assistant to join their busy team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Theyre ideally looking for someone who has a previous background working within a college,or has previous facilities experience whos looking to try out a new industry.

Typical duties would include:

  • Supporting the facilities team in ensuring the smooth operation of the college building and site.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for all building and site queries.
  • Conducting minor maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Assisting with the movement of furniture and equipment.

The successful candidates:

  • Previous experience working within facilities or in a similar proactive hands on position.
  • Hardworking and enjoys working as part of a wider team.
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficient IT skills and able to use MS Office.

Experience inplanned andpreventative maintenance tasks.General maintenance and repair work including painting, decorating, use of power tools, general carpentry and building work.
