Facilities Coordinator | Cambridge | Up to £40,000 (depending on experience)

Are you a skilled Facilities Coordinator looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment? Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive individual to oversee and maintain their facilities at their ever-growing Cambridge site. Our client operates in the Aerospace sector and due to their business expanding at a rapid rate, they are looking to expand their Facilities team.

As a Facilities Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out general maintenance across the site and coordinating with external contractors
  • Performing Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to meet SLAs and KPIs
  • Acting as a key holder and first responder
  • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures, risk assessments, and permits to work
  • Supporting production with emergency maintenance and machinery upkeep
  • Managing the Facilities Helpdesk and overseeing maintenance logs
  • Understanding and monitoring systems such as HVAC, plumbing, fire and security alarms

As the successful Facilities Coordinator you’ll have:

  • Proven experience in a Facilities Maintenance role
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
  • A mechanical and/or electrical qualification (or significant M&E experience – desirable)
  • Experience working within the engineering sector
  • Forklift and/or IPAF certification (desirable)
