Careers Advisors  - £15.94 per hour – Cambridge & HuntingdonCollege is seeking 2 experienced Careers Advisors to support with their Careers Advice Cafes. 1 will be based in Huntingdon and 1 in Cambridge.These are temporary roles to start on 26th August working the below dates and hours:Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th August:                   9am – 4pmMonday 1st & Tuesday 2nd September:               9am – 5pmMonday 8th & Tuesday 9th September:                9am – 5pmThe ideal Careers Advisor will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Level 6 Qualification in Careers Guidance & Development
  • Experience providing high-quality impartial CEIAG to young people under the age of 19 and adult learners and job seekers.
  • Experience carrying out 1:1 careers guidance sessions with individuals at different stages of career development. 
  • Thorough knowledge of the post-16 and post-19 educational, training and employment progression routes.
  • Experience developing and delivering group careers interventions.
  • Understanding of the current issues and developments relating to education, skills and the job market.
