Class 2 Driver

Quattro Resourcing have current vacancies for HGV Class 2 drivers for full-time vacancies based in Papworth Everard, Cambridgeshire.

THIS IS A TEMP TO PERM ROLE

Position: HGV Class 2 Driver (Multiple vacancies available)
Location: Papworth Everard, Cambridgeshire
Schedule: Monday to Saturday (5/6 days per week including Saturdays)
Working Hours: 04:00 to finish
Weekends and Bank Holidays: Optional/Available

16.00 per hour PAYE

Although this role is suitable for HGV Class 2 licence holders, you will be required to drive 3.5t and 7.5t vehicles also, at the agreed advertised rate.

Duties:
- Safely operate HGV and Vans, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport goods and materials from one location to another.
- Load and unload stock using appropriate equipment.
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules.
- Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately and timely.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) license with no more than 6 points or previous serious endorsements.
- Proven experience as a HGV driver or delivery driver.
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.

Additional Skills:
- Experience with refrigerated vehicles preferred but not essential.
