We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team within one of Cambridges prestigious college environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a historic setting renowned for excellence, where youll prepare high-quality dishes for students, fellows, and guests, including formal dining and high-profile events.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and present dishes to an exceptional standard in line with college and departmental guidelines.
Work effectively across various kitchen sections, ensuring consistency and attention to detail.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation in compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
Assist in menu development and support senior chefs with special events and fine dining occasions.
Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional kitchen culture.
Manage stock rotation, portion control, and minimisation of food waste.
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef looking to step up.
A passion for quality food and fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Excellent organisational and teamwork skills.
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practices (Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene desirable).
Flexible and professional, with the ability to work across breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.
