Strawberry Fields is newest village in the Rangeford portfolio and will provide an exciting and dynamic environment for our owners who will have access to a multitude of facilities including a restaurant, bar, spa and swimming pool.

Job Description

To prepare and cook food quickly and efficiently and support the running of the kitchen with the aim of delivering quality food and service to our guests and owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook and present food to the Head Chefs requirements
  • To compile the list of complete daily tasks, place tasks for the section to the required standard within the given time.
  • To complete all storage, stock rotation and cleaning tasks for the section to the required standard within the given time.
  • Keep kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic at all times by completing various regular cleaning duties
  • To accurately and calmly give instruction to junior members of staff during service and assist if necessary in the completion of these instructions.
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment
  • Keep up to date with new products, menus and promotions

Skills and Experience:

  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Be a team player
  • Have a genuine interest in fresh food
  • Proof of right to work in UK
  • Attention to detail

Training will be provided

Qualifications:

  • Appropriate food qualification desirable but not necessary

Hours and any other restrictions:

This is a full time role 40 hours per week and will be on a rota basis 5 days out of 7 and will include weekend work, with occasional evenings
