As part of their ongoing investment in workplace wellbeing and staff experience, they are seeking aCommis Chefto join their on-site catering team. This role is ideal for a passionate chef with experience in high-quality food preparation and service who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The Opportunity:
You'll join the in-house catering team at the studios staff restaurant, helping deliver fresh, varied meals to employees each day. Youll assist with both breakfast and lunch service, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily food prep, cooking, service, and clean-up for breakfast and lunch.
- Work with both traditional and modern recipes to produce a variety of meals, including soups, desserts, and baked goods.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP and in-house systems).
- Maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
- Support junior team members (e.g., Catering Assistants) with their training and development.
- Help manage stock levels and contribute to smooth kitchen operations.
What We're Looking For:
- Solid knowledge of cooking and baking techniques.
- Prior experience in a similar role within hospitality or workplace catering.
- Strong understanding of stock control and kitchen safety regulations.
- A customer-focused mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Able to work with fresh ingredients and occasionally cook to order.
- Capable of working under pressure in a busy, creative studio environment.
