Head of Brand & MarketingCambridgeHybrid (3 days in office)Full-time Circa: £70,000 + Benefits We’re recruiting for a Cambridge-based business, established 13 years ago with 28 passionate people and three exciting consumer-facing brands under one roof. They are on a journey of growth and transformation, and we’re looking for a strategic and energetic Head of Brand & Marketing to join their team. About the RoleThis is a high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to a member of the leadership team. You’ll shape the direction of their marketing and brand strategies, leading a talented in-house marketing team of 8.You’ll be responsible for:
  • Defining and executing the overall marketing strategy
  • Leading brand strategy refreshes across their three brands
  • Driving customer acquisition and growth through multi-channel marketing
  • Shaping and implementing their go-to-market strategy as they expand into new channels
  • Enhancing their competitive positioning and differentiation
  • Owning the customer experience journey across all touchpoints
  • Championing a data-driven and creative approach to marketing
Who You Are:You’re a marketing leader with high energy, positivity, and a passion for mentoring and coaching teams. You bring creativity, commercial acumen, and a drive to make things happen. You’re hands-on, digitally fluent, and ready to roll up your sleeves to make an impact.You will have:
  • Proven experience as a Head of Marketing (this isn’t a step-up role unless you're truly exceptional)
  • Experience in high-growth, seed-funded or scale-up businesses
  • A background in tech, retail, or consumer brands
  • Strong multi-channel marketing experience
  • Awareness of advertising compliance (ASA) requirements
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards on regulated products
  • Fluency in tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics
  • A finger on the pulse of AI in marketing and how to use it effectively
  • A strong network and deep industry knowledge
  • Built a collaborative and creative team environment
