One of the UK's leading infrastructure contractors, working across a number of sectors including: transport, highways, water, energy and telecommunications.
Your new role
You will join a leading highways contractor working on projects in Cambridge. You will join a team of Agents, Engineers and project managers to help deliver Civil Improvement works.
As part of our infrastructure delivery team, you will support the development of dedicated cycleways along existing highways. This includes overseeing works such as footpath widening - either into adjacent land or the carriageway - resurfacing, signage installation, road markings, and junction improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage supply chain partners to ensure project delivery meets required standards, including health and safety compliance.
Monitor progress and quality of works, providing oversight rather than direct site delivery.
Conduct periodic site visits to support specific tasks such as temporary pedestrian barrier installation and fencing setup.
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and resolve any on-site issues efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
4 Week programme preparation (and/or understanding)
Computer Skills
Highways and setting out experience
SMSTS or SSSTS
