Hill McGlynn Recruitment is pleased to present a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client on a permanent basis. Located in Essex, this role offers the chance to work on diverse projects within a supportive and dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of construction projects, including procurement, cost control, and contractual negotiations. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time, maintaining strong relationships with clients and contractors alike.

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
  • Experience working with NEC contracts 
  • Experience working on Education projects £30m+ 
  • Strong knowledge of contract management and estimating procedures
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple Projects simultaneously
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics
  • Experience working with various types of construction projects and budgets
