About the Role:
We’re working with a well-established contractor who is looking for an experienced Working Foreman / Site Supervisor to join their team on a refurbishment project in Cambridge.
The role will start with some hands-on work — including removing stud walls, carpet tiles, and doors — before moving into a supervisory position, managing trades on site and reporting to the Contracts Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Carry out initial hands-on works during the strip-out phase
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades
- Maintain site records and report progress to the Contracts Manager
- Ensure health & safety compliance at all times
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Managers Card
- SMSTS and First Aid certification
- Proven experience supervising commercial or refurbishment projects
- Ideally from a trade background, confident with practical site work when required
- Strong communication and organisational skills
