About the Role:
We’re working with a well-established contractor who is looking for an experienced Working Foreman / Site Supervisor to join their team on a refurbishment project in Cambridge.

The role will start with some hands-on work — including removing stud walls, carpet tiles, and doors — before moving into a supervisory position, managing trades on site and reporting to the Contracts Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Carry out initial hands-on works during the strip-out phase
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades
  • Maintain site records and report progress to the Contracts Manager
  • Ensure health & safety compliance at all times

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS Managers Card
  • SMSTS and First Aid certification
  • Proven experience supervising commercial or refurbishment projects
  • Ideally from a trade background, confident with practical site work when required
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Start Date: End of November / Early December
Duration: 3 months
