Fairmead is recruiting a Trainee Health & Safety Advisor to support a well-established main contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality construction projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Site and Health & Safety Managers with health and safety compliance across construction sites
 -
Contribute to the preparation and review of RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)
 -
Support the coordination and tracking of RFIs (Requests for Information) related to health and safety
 -
Assist with the collation of information for Health & Safety Files and project documentation
 -
Help identify and assess on-site risks, contributing to proactive safety planning
 -
Maintain accurate health and safety records in line with regulatory and internal requirements
 -
Liaise with project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure best practice is followed
 -
Support the management of third-party safety consultants and service providers
 -
Promote a positive safety culture across all sites

What we’re looking for:

Strong communication skills with a proactive, collaborative approach
 -
Comfortable using digital systems and software for data entry, reporting, and document management
 -
Either working towards or already holding a Health & Safety or Construction Safety qualification (must be included in your application)
