Are you a seasoned Contracts Manager with experience in passive fire protection? We're working with a leading fire specialist Contractor who is looking to bring an experienced Contracts Manager on board to oversee a range of fire stopping projects across Cambridgeshire.
This well-established contractor is a trusted name in the fire safety sector, delivering high-quality fire protection and stopping solutions to commercial, residential, and public sector clients. With a strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation for compliance and quality, they're growing their project delivery team to meet demand.
Responsibilities
A Contract Fire Stopping Manager plays a critical role in the fire stopping industry. As Contracts Fire Stopping Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of current and future fire stopping contracts.
- You will manage administration in an organised and efficient way including the completion of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and storage of safety documentation.
- You will stay up to date with current health and safety legislation and requirements, escalating changes where needed and incorporating such changes into your ways of working.
- You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to articulate yourself both verbally and in writing to ensure that key information is provided and conveyed as required.
- Installation and inspection of Fire Stopping to ensure a good finish and compliance with safety standards and Material Manufacturers details.
- Planning workloads for labour and material deliveries, to ensure sufficient quantities are on site at all times.
- You will actively engage in keeping your CPD (Continuous Personal Development) log up to date.
Key experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Fire Stopping
- A minimum of 3 years industry experience.
- A clean UK driving licence
- FIRAS/Qmark Experience would be advantageous, however not essential.
