Are you an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler looking for your next opportunity? We're working with a leading manufacturer based in Cambridge that is seeking a skilled individual to join their growing team.

You'll play a key role in the hands-on assembly and testing of high-quality products, ensuring health and safety standards are met and production targets are achieved. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a great opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electro-mechanical components using detailed work instructions and documentation.
  • Diagnose and fault-find issues with returned units (RMAs), including testing and repair at PCB component level.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in line with health and safety protocols.
  • Support the introduction of new products and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure ERP systems and work order records are accurately maintained.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational and quality issues.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing practices and help drive process improvements.

About You:

  • Previous experience in an electro-mechanical assembly or manufacturing environment.
  • Confident in reading and interpreting assembly documentation and schematics.
  • Able to fault-find and rework PCBs to IPC standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Comfortable using ERP/MRP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ideally qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering.
