Role Overview:

Reed are currently working alongside a fantastic primary school based in Cambridge who are seeking a compassionate and skilled behavioural support assistant from September. This full-time position involves supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) with their behaviour throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioural support to KS1 and KS2 pupils.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Implement effective behavioural management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience working with children is required (school-based experience preferred but not essential).
  • DBS Check: Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Skills: Excellent classroom and behavioural management skills.
  • Eligibility: Must have a UK address and the right to work in the UK.
  • Availability: Full-time position, hours are 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
