Engineering Physicist - Sensors - Cambridge

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced engineering physicist to join a new team in Cambridge to work on their revolutionary sensor technologies.

This company are at the forefront of innovation and are developing a potentially disruptive product for their market.

As an Engineering Physicist, you will take a hands-on approach to a variety of roles including the design, fabrication and test of electronic modules for sensing in harsh environments and the identification and resolution of any issues with the technology.

You will also be responsible for the measurement and analysis of the devices and the integration of the modules into larger oil and gas sensors. You will also be developing demonstrations and contribute towards field deployment. You will use your experience with signal processing and electronics in general to lead the development of this new technology.

We are looking for physicists who love solving highly complex problems on leading edge technology and who enjoy hands-on R&D.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a degree in electronics, physics or a closely related discipline along with hands on R&D experience with sensors. You will ideally have experience with MEMS, signal processing and low-noise, precision electronics design. Additionally, you will also have some exposure to high temperature electronics design.
