Hands-on role building, testing, and fixing high-precision electro-mechanical kit-from cable looms to full system builds-in both one-offs and batch runs.

What you'll do

  • Assemble & test mechanical, optical, and electronic sub-systems

  • Fault-find to component level; debug, repair, document

  • Follow clean-room techniques for opto-mechanical work

Experience you'll need:

  • Strong grasp of electronic fundamentals; able to read schematics

  • Wiring/cable & harness assembly experience

  • Confident with scopes, DVMs, signal generators

  • Working knowledge of PCB design tools

  • Basic CAD (e.g., SolidWorks)

  • Formal engineering qualification or similar
  • Nice-to-have: analogue/digital video background
