A dynamic and forward-thinking architectural practice in Cambridge is seeking a motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their Part 1 experience and develop their career in a supportive, design-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing detailed design drawings, technical documentation, and specifications across a variety of projects
- Collaborate with senior architects and design teams to develop innovative architectural solutions
- Support planning applications, building regulation submissions, and tender documentation
- Conduct site visits and surveys to collect information and ensure designs meet project requirements
- Keep up-to-date with building regulations, construction methods, and industry standards
- Contribute to sustainable and thoughtful design development
Skills and Qualifications
- Masters in Architecture
- ArchiCAD proficiency is beneficial
- Strong technical drawing and detailing skills
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and construction processes
- Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Previous experience in an architectural practice is beneficial but not essential
