Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Salary: 25-30,000

Location: Cambridge

A dynamic and forward-thinking architectural practice in Cambridge is seeking a motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing detailed design drawings, technical documentation, and specifications across a variety of projects
  • Collaborate with senior architects and design teams to develop innovative architectural solutions
  • Support planning applications, building regulation submissions, and tender documentation
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to collect information and ensure designs meet project requirements
  • Keep up-to-date with building regulations, construction methods, and industry standards
  • Contribute to sustainable and thoughtful design development

Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters in Architecture
  • ArchiCAD proficiency is beneficial
  • Strong technical drawing and detailing skills
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations and construction processes
  • Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Previous experience in an architectural practice is beneficial but not essential
