Contract: Full-time, 52 weeks (plus occasional weekends)
Are you passionate about delivering healthy, nutritious meals and creating a positive dining experience for young people? We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to lead our school kitchen and catering team.
About the Role
As Catering Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the school kitchen.
- Plan and prepare balanced, appealing menus in line with nutritional standards.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and budgets effectively.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of catering staff.
- Work closely with school leadership to support special events and initiatives.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in catering management (school or similar environment preferred).
- Holds a Level 3 Food Safety qualification (or willing to achieve).
- Is highly organised, proactive, and able to manage budgets.
- Enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
