An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a global finance team for an initial period of 9 months to cover a long-term absence. Within this role you will report into the AP Manager. The role offers hybrid working arrangements, with up to 2 days a week working from home. The role is located at their office in South Cambridge.

As the incoming Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be tasked with:

  • Posting and reconciling high volumes of international supplier invoices

  • Resolving cost discrepancies and managing supplier disputes

  • Managing AP mailboxes and responding to supplier queries

  • Supporting supplier set-ups and maintaining master data accuracy

  • Driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with banking information

  • Processing employee expenses and providing wider finance support

The successful candidate will experienced in Accounts Payable and ideallybe studying towards an accountancy qualification. You will also be comfortable working within a high pace environment. Additional skills you will ideallypossess include:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

  • Possess excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with strong attention to detail

  • Be proactive, adaptable, and confident building relationships across teams
