NXTGEN are delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a prestigious Cambridge College. As a pivotal member of the Finance Team, you'll oversee financial accounting, audit, treasury, tax, payroll, and endowment management for the College, its trading subsidiaries, and associated Trusts.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial success of an esteemed institution, ensuring the Finance Office delivers accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to support key decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of financial accounting, audit, and tax compliance.

  • Oversee treasury and endowment management processes.

  • Support payroll functions and ensure operational excellence within the Finance Office.

  • Provide leadership to a small team, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) and have proven experience managing a finance function. You will bring excellent leadership skills, a proactive approach to process improvement, and the ability to influence peers and stakeholders at all levels.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 36.25 hours per week, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact within a renowned organisation.

Salary: 60'000 - 65'000 depending on experience.
