Sonic Summary
- We are seeking a Finance Manager for a temporary contract until June 2026, located on the outskirts of Cambridge.
- The role involves managing a small finance function and working alongside the current Finance Manager until January.
- Key responsibilities include balance sheet and bank reconciliations, purchase and sales ledger processing, setting up payment runs, month-end management accounts, and quarterly VAT returns.
- Candidates must have proven experience in these tasks, familiarity with Sage 200, and strong communication skills for a standalone role.
- The position offers a competitive salary and requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience, with hybrid working options available.
Working initially with the current Finance Manager until January you will be running a small finance function which forms part of a wider group. The main tasks are as follows -
- Balance sheet and Bank reconciliations
- Purchase and Sales ledger processing
- Setting up the payment runs
- Month end management accounts
- Quarterly VAT returns
You must have proven experience in the above mentioned tasks and have used Sage 200 previously. You must have strong communication skills and comfortable working in a standalone role. You will be based in the Cambridge office and hybrid working is also available.
