Private Client Tax Manager/ Assistant Manager

Are you proficient in private client tax? Are you looking for that next career move, or to share your knowledge with clients on a daily basis?

Our client, a reputable, privately owned international accountancy practice headquartered in Cambridge (with their own parking), are enjoying growth and as a result are looking to add a Tax Manager or Assistant Manager for their private client team.

The job -

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ATT or CTA qualified private client tax professional looking to fully utilise all knowledge and learn other aspects such as international tax.

The post will combine technical work and direct client management within a highly experienced team.

Your work will include stand private client tasks such as capital gains, IHT, trusts and estate, residency matters but also some US tax, non-domicile and expat tax.

The profile -

You will be CTA or ATT qualified with post qualification in private client tax compliance.   Your experience will be gained in a small to mid tier firm, where you will have worked in a more holistic role rather than focusing on one area.  The experience you gained may either be in an accounting firm, boutique or we will consider those from the legal sector.

What’s in it for you?

You will join a small but mighty team – some of which have over 20 years’ experience and will share their knowledge with you that you may lack.

The firm offer generous holiday, flexible working, an attractive salary – the figure quoted can be negotiated -  that will reflect your experience and motivate you to succeed and more.

If you are looking for increased client contact, more interesting work and thrive on working with those of the same calibre, please contact Natalie Harden at Reed to book a call for an initial discussion.
