Import Export Coordinator 

£28k - £32k DOE

Our well-established client working within the scientific industry are looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Import Export Coordinator to join their already flourishing team!

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and monitor the shipment of goods (by air, sea, or land).
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare and review shipping documents.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and customs inspections.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments (e.g., sales, warehouse, finance).
  • Resolve issues related to shipping delays, customs holds, or damaged goods.
  • Provide updates to stakeholders on shipment status.
  • Negotiate freight rates and service contracts.
  • Monitor and control shipping costs.
  • Process freight invoices and ensure accuracy.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of import export experience
