This institution is seeking a motivated and energetic Schools Liaison & Marketing Officer to join its expanding Marketing and Schools Engagement team. As one of the leading colleges in the region, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative engagement and recruitment campaigns to support students' next steps in education and training. This is a varied, people-focused role with a mix of school visits, campus events, marketing support and public speaking. The Role:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools, sixth forms, and community partners
- Represent the college at career fairs, assemblies, presentations, taster days and exhibitions
- Plan and deliver engaging marketing communications to schools, students and parents
- Support major events including open days, awards ceremonies and advice cafés
- Maintain accurate records and evaluate the impact of engagement activities
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, case studies and digital outreach
- Stay informed on education trends, curriculum changes, and college offerings
- Occasional evening and weekend work required (especially in Autumn term)
The Person:
- Strong communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with young people and/or in an educational, careers, or marketing setting
- Confident representing an organisation and speaking to diverse audiences
- Great organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and relationships
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort with basic digital marketing tools
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (travel between campuses and schools is essential)
