We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our expanding Business team as a Lecturer in Business, delivering to Level 2 and Level 3 students. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established department at a time of growth, and to contribute to the continued success and exceptional student experience we pride ourselves on.

About the Role:
This role involves the planning and delivery of engaging, inclusive Business lessons at Level 2 and Level 3, as well as providing tutorial and pastoral support to students. You will help learners develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for further education or entry into employment.
You will be supported by the Assistant Head of Department for Business, Travel & Tourism, who will also serve as your line manager.
What We’re Looking For:
We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and professional experience, including those looking to transition into teaching. While the following attributes are desirable, they are not restrictive:
Experience:
•    Proven experience delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a post-16 environment
•    A track record of supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes
•    Experience as a personal tutor or in providing tutorial support (desirable)
•    Familiarity with a range of assessment methods tailored to varied learning needs
Skills and Abilities:
•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a range of audiences
•    Collaborative team player with a flexible and reflective approach
•    Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
•    Committed to student success with an inclusive and supportive mindset
Qualifications:
•    A teaching qualification at Level 5 or a willingness to work towards one
•    A relevant qualification in Business or substantial industry experience
