Day-to-day of the role:- Plan and deliver engaging Business lessons to level 2 and level 3 students, ensuring content is accessible and stimulating.
- Provide tutorial and pastoral support to students, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to curriculum development.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching standards and practices.
- Maintain flexibility in working hours, including potential evenings and weekends, to meet the educational needs of students.
- Proven experience teaching in a post-16 environment.
- Level 3 teaching qualification.
- Relevant degree or industry experience in Business.
- Recent experience teaching Business or related subjects like Travel.
- Assessors award is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to varying teaching schedules, including evenings and weekends.
